Free music and Fairy dust...
Get yourself along to Workington this weekend and enjoy some fabulous free performances by world-class musicians as part of Urban Classical 2010, and Workington’s Heritage Open Days programme. Aurora Strings, Two Violins and a Cello, and harpist Kate Petty will be playing in unexpected locations throughout the town centre and in some of our most loved heritage venues. Mary the Fairy and Pixie Di will also be doing some meeting and mingling with the crowds to get everyone in the party mood for Saturday’s Picnic in the Park at Derwent Park.
